I have very quickly become Apple obsessed and it all started when I got my first Macbook Pro at the age of 21. Fast forward seven years later and every electronic device I own is an Apple product. My phone is an iPhone 8 Plus, I have an iPod but that I don’t use so much, my desktop iMac and very recently a Macbook Air. The Macbook Air was a recent purchase because I knew that I needed it as my current Macbook Pro was slowly dying. And now that I have Apple products, I don’t think I’ll ever find myself going back to anything different. I was a big fan of Android for years but since I got my iPhone, everything changed. This Macbook Air is a 2018 edition and I wanted to show you this new purchase and how I’m finding it so far.

The Macbook Air cost £899, which I think is the cheapest I have ever seen in terms of a Macbook, whether that’s Air or Pro. When it came to replacing my current Macbook Pro, I wanted something that was as light as a feather and that I could pop into my handbag for on-to-go usage. Myself and Sam are often doing a lot of travelling, whether that’s business or pleasure and so I wanted something that I could use whilst I was travelling. The sleek design and feel of this mabook pro is wonderful and I cannot get over just how slim it is. It doesn’t have a CD drive which I’m not fussed about, however the lack of SD card insert is a shame because it would have been nice to have something to transfer photos across. However, I think if I download my Olympus Share on the Macbook, I can simply transfer the photos via the wifi and app.
Now can we talk about the colour. This gorgeous Rose Gold cover was something I just had to have and the other colours just didn’t compare to how beautiful the gold one looks. These photos don’t do enough justice because the colour is stunning.

With Apple, syncing up your devices is really easy and I’m hoping that by the end of this week, I can finish transferring all the files that I have on my Macbook, over to my external hard drive for safe keeping. The Macbook Air was a great gift to myself for Christmas and because having this will make my life so much easier when I want to work on the go. I cannot wait to continue creating and building my content on Tilly & Rouge and I hopefully will be able to provide much more exciting content when I get a new camera in 2020. I’m hoping to invest in a Canon EOS 80D and it will be the most money I will have spent on a camera before. However, I think it’s a worthy investment and one I need to make for the future of my blogs.
