When it comes to the gym, I’ve found a real love and passion for it. Despite perhaps the half-hearted moan I have in the car on occasion, that’s mainly due to having to get out of a warm car and into the cold as I run towards the gym. Either way, if you didn’t know, I’m in my second trimester of pregnancy, and I’m still going strong at the gym. What has also become a bit of an obsession lately is my Fitbit Versa 4. Gifted to me for a collaboration on my main blog and channel, UpYourVlog, I have been wearing this religiously every day since I got it. Other than when it’s off my hand whilst charging, it’s been stuck to me and I love it.

What do I love about the Fitbit Versa 4?
I’m not a big watch wearer, but something about the Fitbit is different. I’m not overly obsessed by the numbers, but it’s good to have a watch that does more than just tell the time.
As a gym-goer, I can record some of my workouts, and I know that as I reach the end of my pregnancy, I’ll probably be inclined to do more walking and get my 10,000 steps in than go to the gym. No one wants their waters to break while doing a dumbbell squat.
I love the comfort and feel of the watch. The larger digital face helps me see everything I need to see, rather than it being on the slimline fit of the older versions.
Features of the Fitbit Versa 4 worth knowing about
If you’re looking at getting yourself a digital watch, like the Fitbit Versa 4, then it’s a good idea to share with you some of the handy features worth knowing about.
The Fitbit Versa 4 can all be managed from an app on your smartphone. Very easy to use and understand. You’ve also got a wealth of information available. Let’s take a look at some of the features:

Recovery
Daily readiness ranges from 1-100 and helps you to understand how ready you are to work out. This is helpful for the days I intend to go to the gym. It’s interesting to see that I have a lot of mid-ranges and sometimes, where I had a few low readings, which correlates with the amount of sleep I’m getting.
Talking of sleep, this is the one that’s most interesting and probably demoralising because I do not get enough sleep. Most nights it’s 6 hours, and it’s now rare that I’m getting anywhere close to 8 hours of sleep. Jeez, how times have changed since having children.
Activity
Activity is all of your fitness and movement metrics. From tracking exercise days to hourly activity goals, it’s definitely encouraging. I particularly love the hourly buzz that tells you how many steps you need to do before the hour runs out. It’s like. healthy and helpful reminder to get the body moving.
Health
Health metrics are, of course, a really important part of the app to track. You get BR, SpO2, HRV, and skin temp variation. You can also track your weight, your menstrual health, and even your glucose levels.
Stress and mindfulness
Stress levels are important for me to tackle, especially while pregnant. This section practices mindfulness, which is fantastic for helping to be more mindful in life.

You also have a stress management score, where the lower the score is, the more stress you’re experiencing. Mine sits 65-76, which is considered good.
Nutrition
I struggle to keep up with tracking apps for food and drink, so the nutrition section hasn’t been really used by me yet. However, you can track your food and water intake.
I truly am obsessed with the Fitbit Versa 4, and so much so that I’m going to get my husband on it too, as his birthday is coming up. If anything, we can prove to one another who gets the lie in, depending on the amount of sleep either of us has every night.
