I’m slowly getting better at applying fake eyelashes. It’s all about practicing and not making yourself look like a blow up doll, which I was kind of doing with previous lashes. I think individual lashes and natural-looking lashes that help elevate my real lashes are better than just sticking on some full-blown fluffy lashes. I’ve been bless with dark, full lashes, so this helps with more of the length and filling in the gaps where I’ve lost lash hairs in the past. I also find eyelashes to be a fasinating part of the body and the more lashes, the better to protect my eyes. Honey Bunny Lashes sent me these Natural Lashes and for just £10.00, they are a steal.
The company are proud to be cruelty free and although they do offer mink false eyelashes, the ones I’m wearing are made out of a high-tech synthetic material. These are then layered on top of each other in order to mimic the effect that mink lashes would usually provide. The first thing that I love about the lashes is that the length of the lashes are the same size across the lash strip. I think that sometimes this can make it look false but the effect on my natural lash makes them look more geninue in appearance. I do need to practice getting my natural lashes to blend a little more into the faux ones.
Leah Ludlow is the founder of Honey Bunny Lashes and she’s a serial entrepreneur who I can fully get behind when it comes to working hard to make something happen. As someone who received these as a gift, I would happily pay for more when I need them because these are the first lashes that actually looks good, rather than looking too false.
One of the things that I enjoyed about this lash set was that the glue was black. I’ve never used a black glue before and it actually helpd with me guiding the black eyeliner that I had, along the lash line. Overall, I’m really impressed by the lashes and I would love to give the luxury ones a try too. I love the look of the Elegant Bunny Lashes – these are the real mink lashes. The mink eyelashes are slightly more expensive at £15.00 but I don’t think it’s too much of a steep jump for how beautiful they look.
