Fearne Cotton | Happy Place Body Mists

Working from home means that I need to keep myself motivated throughout the day. Some days are good and some days are pretty crap but that’s what I was expecting when I went self-employed. Every day is not going to go perfectly but as I get used to a routine, it will get better. One of the things that’s helping me throughout the day is a gift I got from my brother and his girlfriend for my last birthday. These are Fearne Cotton’s Happy Place Body Mists. For those of you who don’t know who Fearne Cotton is, she’s an entertainer/presenter/radio presenter. She does a lot and she’s been around for a long time as I’ve grown up. These sprays are part of her company’s Happy Place collection and I wanted to do little overview of each one.

Energise Invigorating Body Mist

The energise invigorating body mist is usually one that I start my day off with. This is a great way of getting myself in the mood to work and sometimes, like for most people, that can be difficult at certain times of the week, month or year. Every little boost you can get is important and so I always try to remember to spritz this on my body every day. I keep these body mists on my office desk because I feel this is the perfect spot for making sure I’m getting the most out of my working days. Thanks Fearne Cotton!

Energise Spray

The energise invigorating body mist contains bergamont and lemon. These two scents are citrusy and remind me of being on holiday for some reason. It also has notes of mint which is something that helps to give it that morning zing as it’s described. The bottles are 100ml each which is handy if you want to pop them in your handbag while on the way to work. I really enjoy wearing this scent and I can often smell it on my day clothes after I’ve finished work for the day.

It’s definitely something that’s going to last me a while which is good because this one is my second favourite of the scents. I also can’t seem to find it anywhere online, otherwise I would have linked it in this blog post. Do let me know if you find it anywhere because it would certainly be good for to get another one when I run out! This is a mist that you should definitely use during the morning period of the day when you need to wake up.

Calm Soothing Body Mist

Now during the day, there will be points where I’m not feeling motivated. A lack in motivation will usually lead to me proscrastinating and that can impact my working day and how much I get out of it. Therefore, this calm soothing body mist is by far my favourite of the three. The scents in this are jasmine and vanilla and they are just two fragrances that compliment each other so well. It gives me a lot of comfort and that feel of a maternal figure who will likely wear it.

Calm Fearne Cotton

When it comes to feeling calm, it’s something I don’t often feel. Thoughts in life tend to creep into my mind and I often end up self-sabotaging myself when things are actually really good. This has definitely helped me to find that zen in my life when it feels like there’s just so much unorganised chaos going on, which is often the case.

Being able to feel calm is important not only for my mental health but for my body too. Putting it under too much stress is important to avoid because it can have a physical impact and I recognise when that happens because I’ve become familar with how my body feels and acts.

Sleep Relaxing Body Mist

And finally, it’s one of my least favourite of the three but it still does the job when I use it before going to bed. The sleep relaxing body mist has by far one of my favourite fragrances which is lavender. Now lavender is a very calming and relaxing scent that is used in lots of things in the beauty world and I’m not stranger to it.

Sleep Spray

I’d recommend using this in a multtiude of ways from a body mist, to a pillow spray and something you can spray in the room that you’re sleeping in to create a more relaxed vibe. You also have the scent of chamomile which tends to be used in skincare in order to help calm down the skin due to redness or irritation.

The spray form therefore should be able to reduce any of that energy you’re feeling and to help relax the brain so you can fall asleep a little easier. Sam loves the scent and often comments on how calming it can feel for him too, even though he’s not the one wearing it.
