We all have the right to spend our money on what we like and enjoy. And although that might change once I become a parent, for now, I’m enjoying being selfish. As far as subscriptions go, I’ve never tried a flower subscription before. Now I can’t really warrant spending £20 per week on flowers but I can do it per month. When picking a flower subscription, I wanted one that was going to provide beautiful flowers that would sit nicely on my dining room table. Bloom & Wild is a company I’ve used before to send flowers to others and so it was a nice treat to do something for myself.

Bloom & Wild offer a monthly, weekly or bi-weekly subscription where they send you letterbox flowers, straight to your door. No need to collection from a post office or having to worry about them arriving in tatters. The box comes well packaged and the more delicate flowers and plants, protected with extra packaging materials. I’m now three months in and absolutely loving how pretty they look. I get excited when they’re due to arrive and look forward to unboxing them and doing my version of flower arranging. This is where I pretend to know what I’m doing, when in fact I know nothing.
I thought I’d take a couple of snaps of my latest bouquet. I expected a festive selection but this still provided me with a lot of happiness. They send you a little guide which has the names of all the plants and flowers included, which is handy seeing as I really know very little about what flowers are what.
The Waxflower was one that wasn’t much to look at to begin with but I actually really like how it compliments the rest of the arrangement. Since getting the bouquet, the pink roses have bloomed and look amazing. Getting a flower subscription for me is all about presentation and additional decor for your home. A bouquet of flowers can really add a cosiness to the home and they just make the place look nice in general. If you’re wanting to make a small change to the feel of your space, it’s definitely something that’s worth doing.
