Probably one of the most luxurious perfumes on the market here in the UK is Jo Malone. I’ve yet to go into the store and pick out a scent for myself, as this was one gifted by my hubby. However, when it comes to my favourite scents, the Peony & Blush Suede doesn’t disappoint.
I’ve even got this scent in wax melt form – it’s that good. Jo Malone London has been around since 1990 and has established itself as one of the high-end perfumes that provide quality in scent and wear time. Whenever I spritz this on my neck and wrists, I know it’s going to stay on for a while. That’s kind of what you want when you’re paying upwards of £100 for a single perfume.
This is the smaller size that’s available in 30ml for £56. You can get the full size of 100ml for £122. Yes, that’s a staggering price for a perfume, but I’d honestly invest in the bigger size to get more for your money. It’s a beautiful scent, floral but without being too much.
I’ve now run out of the fragrance, and I’m itching to go into a Jo Malone store and treat myself to a new scent or perhaps this one if this is my preferred choice. I’m also planning to get one for Sam this Christmas, so it may just be a little Christmas treat that we can both enjoy. And why not? We work hard throughout the year in both our jobs, so it’s only right to treat ourselves. We should all be willing to spend more on ourselves from time to time.

The floral and sweet scents are going to be more of what I lean towards when selecting a perfume, but there are actually recent perfumes that I’ve tried, where it’s a little bit different in terms of the scent profiles, so I’m excited to go into the store and try out each one to see which would be my go-to scent. I can see Sam selecting one of the more masculine smells, like the Wood Sage and Sea Salt.
Along with the colognes, they also do a range of homeware. From candles to diffusers and sprays, if I had all of the money available at my disposal, Jo Malone would be everywhere around the home. You can tell just from the smell and how much it lingers that it’s a luxurious product and that the highest-quality, premium ingredients are used. I’ve seen a lot of copy-cat dupes, but none of them really come close to the real thing.
