When it comes to furnishing our apartment, it’s taken a little while to get to a point where it’s looking more like home. There’s still quite a lot that I’d like to get but it’s a little difficult now with saving for a wedding. However, that doesn’t mean I’m going to not buy anything else when I have the money to do so. January was a bit of a spendy month where I bought two more items of furniture, one of which was this drinks trolley. Now I’ve know I’ve wanted something like this before we moved in but it’s something that became more of a need than a want.

Our apartment when we moved in was quite spacious but I’m finding that we’re now outgrowing this property with our belongings and I’m feeling like we need to move for the sake of getting a house, rather than an apartment. I also would love to get a dog eventually and this apartment just doesn’t cater for owning one. So when it came to buying this trolley, I needed it due to the lack of space we had in our kitchen. With the addition of our coffee machine late last year, the kitchen counter tops were getting unbearibly cramped and we had a lack of space within our kitchen cupboards due to the glassware and alcohol filling up the cabinets.
So we were well overdue something like this and this specific design was something I wanted. I had be scouring the internet for a while trying to find a version that wasn’t more than £250 and then recently I spotted it on Sue Ryder. Sue Ryder is a charity shop that also has a range of products online and all the proceeds go to charity, which I think is great. This version of the trolley was £149.99 and that my friends is a bargain.

The trolley comes on wheels and can easily be moved about – well carefully moved about. It’s got three levels which is the perfect amount for all of our alcohol and glassware that we had in our kitchen cabinets. Installing the trolley was fairly easy, with the glass shelves fitting snugly into the shelving. I absolutely love the way it looks but now I need to figure out where our bin can go so that it doesn’t look took ridiculous next to the beautiful drinks trolley!
At £149.99, this trolley is a steal and one that is going to help add some colour to our space but also free up the kitchen space so that it’s more functional. The fact you can move it around can make it easier for us to manage when we have guests around too. I think if you’re lacking space and need something that stylish and functional, a drinks trolley is a must. You can check out the trolley here on Sue Ryder if you fancied purchasing one for yourself. It’s been on there for a while so I don’t see them going anywhere soon. They also have it in a Rose Gold version.
