Well hello to new beginnings with Tilly & Rouge. My name is Natalie and I’m the owner of this new luxury lifestyle blog. I’m also the owner of UpYourVlog! This new blog is a chance for me to come back to basics where I can create content that isn’t controlled all the time from brands and PR companies who are after specific criteria. This for me is going to be a place to show off the more luxurious style of my life, as and when I actually am able to splurge on it.
So a bit about me, I’m 27 years young and living in the bustling city of London. I’ve been here for just over five years now and I love it. As a freelance writer and blogger, I love create content that’s engaging and that provides something to the reader that they find beneficial. A lot of the content for Tilly & Rouge, will be based around luxury living in terms of home decor, beauty and fashion. My favourite hobbies to do (when I’m not blogging 24/7) is reading and spending time with my nearest and dearest. I’m also planning a wedding so expect to see a few fashion and beauty posts along the way.
The name Tilly & Rouge was something I was brainstorming with friends and essentially it’s a play on my name. Tilly is a shortened version of Natalie and a name that a friend in school would always go by. Rouge is of course, French for Red. And my surname is Redman. I wanted a name that was personal to me and I feel with this name, it’s definitely me. I also wanted to create Tilly & Rouge into a brand and to hopefully create something further down the line that I love – like lipsticks and handbags.
I’ll only talk about what I’m most passionate about on this blog and I hope that you’ll join me on this journey as I reach the peak of my twenties. There’s a lot of things happening over the next couple of years and I want to be able to share that with you guys. Oh, and happy December! It’s my favourite month of the year and so you can expect a full month’s worth of content as a way to celebrate this launch and end the year of 2019 with a bang.
