I have to say that I’m a bit of a slob when it comes to wearing pyjamas in bed. I have a few outfits that I can wear that match or go quite nicely together but most of the time, I’m grabbing Sam’s lounge wear which is all mis-matched ro wear instead. This Christmas just gone, both me and my best friend decided to but the same thing for each other in the form of some satin-feel pyjamas. And these are the perfect nightwear to wear during the spring time when the weather is warming up ever so slightly but it’s still not warm enough to wear shorts and a vest top.

I got my friend a deep red/plum colour and she got me a champagne/rose gold ensemble. Both have that black edging and I love how comfortable they feel. As I’m losing weight though, I don’t think they’re going to fit me so well for long. I can already tell that they’re a lot baggier than they should be but to be honest, I do love an oversized set when it comes to sleeping. No one wants to feel constricted when lying in bed and this doesn’t make me feel that way.
The trousers are elasticated so regardless of how much weight I do lose, they’ll stay up and not fall down as much. The champagne colour really suits my skin tone and I knew that when I started fake tanning, I’ll have a bit more of a bronzed glow about me, which this shade of colour will definitely help bring it out more.

These pyjamas are from Misguided and if you’re after them yourself, at the time of writing this, only the size 6 is available. I love the huge flare effect that the trousers have, which I think is fairly unique to other fitted or straight cuts on pyjama trouser sets.
Being comfortable in your own home is important and as I’m working from home, it can be very easy for me to just not get out of my pyjamas during the day. Often I stay in them or I end up forcing myself out of them because I have content to film and take photos of for this blog or my other one, UpYourVlog. I’m that type of person that would happily work from my bed everyday too because it’s just so damn comfortable.
I absolutely love these satin pyjamas and they will definitely make for the perfect spring wear and perhaps even summer as long as it doesn’t get too hot. Otherwise, satin that clings to your skin isn’t enjoyable. Let me know what you own in terms of nightwear in the comments below. Do you like satin when it comes to your nightwear?
