There’s nothing like enjoying a bit of skincare pampering now and then. It’s necessary to keep your skin looking and feeling good all year round. I was lucky enough to get two Avant products in different beauty subscription boxes, and these are the height of luxury, valued at £92-£99. It’s sure to say that I will be making sure these products last and that I get full use out of them. The two products I got to try were the Ultimate Hyaluronic Acid Resurfacing DUO Moisturiser and the Gentle Rose Beautifying Face Exfoliant. In this blog, I’m going to be sharing my views on the products and whether they’re worth the investment.

The Avant Skincare range originates from London, and the packaging for this product is very simple and clean. They work with some of the best scientists and pharmacists around the world in order to find the right ingredients to help nourish the skin, restore it, and reinforce the structure of your skin from the inside out.
I was definitely excited to try both products to see how they would perform on my skin. They’re definitely luxuriously priced, so I’m hoping that the price reflects the quality of the product.

The Ultimate Hyaluronic Acid Resurfacing DUO Moisturiser is one of the best sellers with Avant. It’s an age-defying, resurfacing cream. This is used either in the day or at night, combining the signature ingredients to help illuminate dull skin. Lessening the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines, this is a product that’s well-needed at my age to help tackle the signs of ageing.
Backed by science, hyaluronic acid is fantastic in penetrating deep into the skin. The combination of Shea Butter and Sweet Almond Oil is intoxicating. It’s definitely a great smell for a facial moisturiser. It works as an emollient to keep your skin looking young and supple. Tightening dull skin, I’ve definitely noticed a change in how my skin looks, tackling the crow’s feet that have started forming.
I would say this is great for sensitive skin, and for the price at £99, you only need to use a small amount to cover the face.

As far as gentle exfoliants go, this is one of the best I’ve tried to date. I definitely have sensitive skin, and so when it comes to using exfoliants, I can’t use anything that’s too abrasive, otherwise it leaves my face feeling sore.
I’m not a huge fan of the rose scent, but this one is pleasant and not too invasive. The Gentle Rose Beautifying Face Exfoliant is again the same size as the resurfacing moisturiser, but it costs £92.
The product aims to intensely hydrate, soften the skin, smooth wrinkles and reduce redness. The penetration of this product penetrates the skin’s surface 20% better than other products.
Rose is a well-known ingredient to help lessen redness, so for me, this has definitely been noticeable for reducing the redness I often get from having sensitive skin.
Both products feel incredibly luxurious, are light on the skin and are therefore something I look forward to applying at night before bed.
I’m looking forward to seeing the results of these skincare products, and right now, I would certainly recommend them. However, I’m not sure if I’m someone who would spend up to £100 on skincare products. I think I’d rather spend it towards more semi-permanent/permanent cosmetic fixtures.
What do you think of the Avant brand? Have you tried any of these products? Let me know in the comments below.
